Eileen

EileenHello, I am Eileen. My co-workers call me “EG.” I was born and raised in Longview, Washington. I have two grown sons, Aaron and Brandon, who both attend college in Washington. I also have two dogs, Danni and Rose with Clarabell the cat as their sidekick. Aaron, my oldest, has just applied for veterinarian school. In his free time he cares for his 4 dogs, 3 snakes and 1 lizard. All this while interning at the university biology lab and working at 2 veterinarian offices. His new wife Kim seems to support him and has the same love for animals as Aaron does. Brandon, my youngest son, is finishing up his degree with a major in snowboarding and a minor in business.

Prior to working for Dr. Cai, my late husband and I owned and operated a commercial fishing boat in Southeastern Alaska. Michael passed away at a young age and is now fishing in heaven and never forgotten.

I have been with Captain Cai for over 11 years. She took me under her arms, educated and trained me, telling me how important it was to be an extension of her hands. There is a grand camaraderie in our office, with lots of respect and admiration toward each other and to our patients. Captain Cai runs a tight ship, striving to be the best in the business, but thankfully providing a fun and welcoming place to work.

Currently, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend Dean. We love to spend time out doors. Every chance we get we are out camping, crabbing or clam digging. There are always campfires to be built, crabs to be caught and remember, we don’t stop playing because we get old, we get old because we stop playing. May the tides of your lives be bountiful and forgiving. Most of all, be blessed, happy and SMILE!
